We will practice meditation and classical Hatha yoga in the way it was intended and taught by India’s revered saints and sages. With privilege, we deliver you this wisdom as it is taught today by our spiritual teacher, Sahajananda. Daily lectures based on the vision of non-duality — drawing from Advaita Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Tibetan Buddhism and many other mystical traditions — serve to illuminate the spiritual journey, and provide a context that elevates your practice.

While long meditation and silence may be challenging at first, this work has the power to change the structure of your mind, body, and soul on a deep, fundamental level.

Anything you open for yourself in silence — even more so, without the external support of plant medicines, psychedelic substances and intense stimulation — becomes a part of your subtle structure, and has the power to change your destiny.

Sages and saints of all major traditions have affirmed: at the end of the spiritual journey stands the realization of our essence as Pure, Unbounded Spirit - Unconditional Beingness, Consciousness, and Love-Bliss.

In the modern day and age of “Instagram spirituality” and marketing based around “Instant Enlightenment,” most of Western spirituality is shallow and lacks spine. While “Instagram Gurus” promise instant enlightenment, the Sages were very clear in outlining both a path and a practice towards Realization.

This retreat is based around the method of Self Enquiry or Atma Vichara, as recommended by the great Indian Sage Ramana Maharshi, and as further structured by our beloved teacher, Sahajananda.

All taught methods are steeped in the authority of realized beings and authentic spiritual traditions, leaving no doubt about their effectiveness on the spiritual journey.

Oliver is the founder of Pure Power. He has served hundreds of clients through transformational coaching, leadership trainings and retreats since 2020.

His own spiritual journey began with the death of his sister and an intense search for meaning, which ultimately led him to meditation. He is a certified 500 Hour Yoga and Meditation Instructor with Hridaya Yoga and a certified breathwork facilitator with Soma Breath. His personal practice includes regular silent meditation retreats of up to 50 days at a time.

I do not have much meditation experience. Is this retreat right for me?
Yes. This retreat provides the ideal environment for you to do deep inner work, and create lasting change in the very structure of your mind, which will benefit you for years and decades to come. However, simply be aware that you will meet the tendencies of your own mind, and be ready to encounter both love-bliss and challenges.
When do we start the retreat?
Please make sure to arrive by 3pm of (DATE) in order for you to check in, have a little snack, and then join the orientation meeting. We will officially start the silence on the morning of day two, so attending the welcome and orientation meeting is essential to get set up for the retreat, introduce basic techniques, and have your questions answered before we enter sacred silence.
Is this retreat for men or women?
Everybody is welcome. The hall will be divided in to men’s and women’s sections, in order to allow everyone to truly focus on their own inner process and minimize distractions.
What if I cannot sit on the floor for that long?
We will place chairs in the hall that will be shared among retreat participants. If you have a special need to reserve a chair for the entire retreat duration, we will make that happen as well.
Which style of Yoga do we practice?
Hridaya Yoga is a form of classical Hatha yoga that integrates the spiritual vision of tantric non-duality. It is a perfect compliment to sitting meditation and supports the body through the process.

How is meditation different or better than other modalities, such as breathwork, plant medicine, or others?
We live in a fast-paced world that prioritizes instant results or fast peak experiences. While there is a value in having peak experiences to widen our consciousness, such peak experiences do not fundamentally change the STRUCTURE of our being. Meditation, on the other hand, provides a path for gradual, deep, and lasting transformation. The highest states of consciousness and self recognition are accessed not through psychedelics or plant medicines, but through unmediated stillness.
Can I expense the retreat as a business expense?
